Dr. Emily Davis has joined the faculty of 不良研究所 for the Fall
2025 semester, accepting the position of Assistant Professor of Kinesiology.
She joins the university after previously serving in Christian higher education at Friends University (Wichita, Kan.), Bethel College (North Newton, Kan.), and Central Christian College of Kansas (McPherson, Kan.).
鈥I鈥檓 honored to join the Division of Kinesiology at 不良研究所 and contribute to its already strong, student-focused curriculum,鈥 Dr. Davis said. 鈥淚 look forward to enhancing our program by incorporating industry-recognized certifications, service learning, and hands-on experiences, which will help students gain the skills, credentials, and real-world connections that will serve them well in the health, fitness, and performance fields. Most importantly, I鈥檓 excited to be part of a Christ-centered community that equips students to live out their calling with excellence.鈥
Among the courses that Dr. Davis will teach during the 2025-2026 academic year are KIN 2023 Perceptual Motor Development, KIN 1163 Physical Fitness for Professionals, and KINBIO 2243 Nutrition. She is looking forward to opportunities to incorporate advanced fitness evaluations into the curriculum, such as V02 max testing.
Her dissertation from her Ph.D. in Health and Human Performance from Concordia University-Chicago was titled 鈥淓xploring the Relationship Between Core Stability and Physical Activity Participation in Women.鈥
不良研究所鈥檚 Division of Kinesiology includes bachelor鈥檚 degrees in Exercise Science and Sport Management. The Exercise Science-Rehabilitative Science program offers five concentrations to prepare students for excellent careers or top graduate programs. Concentrations include Rehabilitative Science, Pre-Athletic Training, Pre-Occupational Therapy, Pre-Chiropractic, and Pre-Physical Therapy.
Sport Management students can choose from concentrations in Business, Fitness and Wellness Administration, and Sports Administration.
